After exactly a year SIGNATURE will be making a welcome return back to the studios of Britain’s Got Talent for the Grand Final. We are looking forward to “going back home” and seeing all the “the family” production team and Judges and of course this year’s contestants. Who is Signature backing to WIN this year’s contest? Signature has just got back to London from the USA. We had two projects
Oprah Winfrey Show
On Friday 8th May we recorded for the Oprah show in Chicago. It was amazing being in the Oprah HARPO studios where so many famous powerful people have appeared and/or performed including the President of the USA! Our performance was received with high praise from everyone and it was almost like the feeling of our FIRST BRITAINS GOT TALENT audition. Simon Cowell was also in attendance so similarities to the audition were surreal.
This performance was broadcast in the USA (our US TV DEBUT) on Monday 11th May 2009 to an estimated audience of 32million viewers and so far the reaction has been incredible for Signature completely overwhelming. please see oprah website
David Foster & Friends Concert (Las Vegas)
After the Oprah show our next project was the David Foster concert in Las Vegas. Here we were set to perform alongside artists such as Brian McKnight, Katherine Jenkins, Paul Aiken and Charice. But the highlight and true honour was working with Mr Foster on our recording for the show and seeing how this musical genius scored our number with live instruments, sounds etc.
This man has worked with Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and so many others on some of the biggest songs that we on this planet know……so when you work with him you couldn’t help but be humbled.
We were the surprise element on the show and after our performance in front of 12000 people, we basically were told by David Foster that “SIGNATURE ROCKED VEGAS BABY”. Both celebrity and audience alike loved what we did including many of those who are working with Michael Jackson on his summer concerts.
Overall Signature had an amazing time in America and we want to thank all the American fans for their love, enthusiasm and support. We look forward to coming back
Hi everyone
Signature are currently in Chicago IL recording a TV special for The Oprah Winfrey Show at Harpo Studios. The show and rehearsals are going well and we are enjoying the whole Oprah experience. She is an amazing woman. We record the main show tomorrow along with Oprah and Simon Cowell and report back here asap.
Once finished we are heading to Las-Vegas for a quick show at the legendary producer David Foster‘s concert at the Mandalay Bay hotel. This will be our first time performing in Vegas so we’re really excited as David Foster has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey (the list is endless) so it’s a real honour to be invited by him.
Its a busy few days but will let you know how it goes…oh and let’s not even get started with the jet lag…
We enjoyed appearing on the programme “This Moring” today as we’ve grown up watching Philip Schofield and it was nice to sit and chat. Discussed the new series of Britain’s Got Talent & our future plans. The clip of the interview will be up in our videos section soon.
Signature will also be appearing on GMTV tomorrow (10.04.09) on UK channel ITV1 at 8.30am to do more of the same. Tune in…no better reason to wake up early especially for those with a day off!

Just to a quicky….Signature are to appear tommorow 09.04.09 on UK channel ITV1’s THIS MORNING programme 10.30am (GMT). We will be chatting and performing so tune in and why not say hi….!!
Yesterday Signature attended the Digital Spy Awards (Reality TV) 2009 held in London where we were nominated for “Best reality TV contestant”. We were among all the other reality TV stars from X-factor, The Apprentice, Im a celebrity get me out of here, Strictly Come Dancing, Big Brother and Dancing on Ice.
Unfortunately we did not win but we had the Biggest cheer of the night when our clip was shown on the giant screens (something at least…the moral victory…lol..!!).
Overall it was a great night enjoyed the experience. (see the show tonight on digital spy website)
Yesterday Signature did their final performance on the X factor Tour as it was the last show ending at Wembley Arena in our home town of London. The tour lasted 5 weeks in which we played 33 shows in 13 cities to an estimated audience of 275,000 people all over UK & Ireland. We had a great time on the tour and cemented special friendships with the X factor finalists. It was our second UK arena tour in 9 months (thats over half a million people we’ve played to..wow..) so we are hugely thankful to the fans who came out to support SIGNATURE once again and sent us so many wonderful messages. Your support really does mean alot to us and it is because of you we do what we do.
We also want to say a special thankyou to the X factor staff who looked after us, JLS who learned our Bhangra dance moves (lol) and with whom we performed every night, Daniel Evans, Laura White, Ruth Lorenzo, Alexandra Burke Diana Vickers, Eoghan Quigg, Rachael Hylton and the rest of the crew.
What an amazing day Signature had today and especially me.
I along with Madhu performed at the 02 Arena London in front of 15000 people on the X factor tour. However the highlight of the day was before the show where I had the opportunity to meet the KING OF POP MICHAEL JACKSON himself backstage after the Press Conference in which Michael Jackson announced he is performing 10 dates at the 02 arena beginning 8th July 2009.
I have included my thoughts and feelings in the new Video blog 5. (Also featured in the video are X Factor runners up JLS, Eoghan Quigg and Daniel Evans)
It was a dream come true to meet Michael Jackson in the way I did because it was so calm and exciting at the same time. I am grateful to Michael and his security for allowing me so much freedom and access and am looking forward to these types of occasions again….and of course cannot wait for the 8th of July 2009 where the RETURN OF THE KING will show us all why he is always going to be the master!
